We are proud to present the new website of ECOVAST!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The old one, although packed with content, was seriously outdated in terms of its design and technology. It hadn\u2019t been updated with fresh content in a long time, so it just didn\u2019t meet the communication needs of today. But now, with the new site, we\u2019re all set to keep up with the times!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The problem of the outdated website was one of the topics of the informal International Committee meeting held via Zoom on Thursday 9 January 2025. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
The old website was set up in 1998 by the UK network and agreed as the official web site for ECOVAST. It has gone through several iterations but it was very out of date both in terms of its content and design. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
This new website was created from scratch in terms of design, using materials from the old website for its content. It was designed by Nik\u0161a Bo\u017ei\u0107 from the Croatian section, free of charge. At the above-mentioned meeting it was agreed that the one-time costs of setting up a website with the new host provider will be covered from the ECOVAST international bank account, while the Croatian Section will cover the future annual costs of management and web-hosting of the site. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
